Television was once the newest technology in our homes in our early childhood. But todays children are growing up transforming into the digital age that is far different from that of their parents and grandparents. Current children are exposed to many technology devices such as computers, video games, and mobile phones. Compared to the early day where computers were only used for office proposes. When I was aged between eight to eleven years, I did not know how to access the internet but current children their operate computers without any difficulties.
Also, the role of teachers has changed critical over the years. Teaching process has become straightforward due to a development of softwares. These are softwares that contains all reading materials needed by children. Teachers only give them a topic to research on, and students can access school library for more information. In our time, we use to read information from books which were in the form of hardcopy and summarize all vital points. All in all, when technology is used well, it can support and extend traditional material it is valuable. Technology when misused it has negative pro- social behaviors.

Pro- social behavior refers to voluntary actions that are intended to benefit the well-being of an individual. However, pro social behaviors need to start at home and extend in school years. Social practices are promoted by good parenting; our parent explains to us what we did wrong, and how our action has affected other people as opposed to mere punishment. Religion entails a system of beliefs with certain rituals and practices which are learned and demonstrated in place of worship. Religion often differs from spirituality in that spirituality is considered as a way of living that determines how a child responds to life experience.
Implication of childhood experience
When I was growing up, I had very few hours to watch television. But current kids spend most of their free time on television. It is evident from the textbook; the current child learns they lesson from computers and other technology devices. The present generations understand every program on television. And this has impacted the performance of students in schools. Also some change the way they behave because some of them want to emulate what they see on television.
