There is a host of various challenges that the health care systems have to address. These challenges are posed by medical and scientific advancement. The healthcare system is an industry that is open to any business that would like to get informed about the forces that shape the evolution of health care. They will also get to learn about the opportunities that exist in this exciting market for the growth of their businesses. For the companies that are active in health care, they need to understand that the health care system is an environment that rapidly changes and is highly volatile to operate in. However, few of these companies have started to think proactively about how the future of healthcare might look like. The role of this task is to explain the future of health care in general and more importantly have a focus on the future of the same in the United States.

Currently, there is no sustainability of the current health care systems, and the public is not aware of the upcoming crisis in the health care system. These crises may result from diseases, industrial process or poor policy. Public awareness should, therefore, be carried out for the people to know about these. A sustainable healthcare in the future will be realized through the inputs and the support of all the stakeholders in the health chain on a global level. To realize a breakthrough in this, all the stakeholders should come together and work out for the achievement of these. Ideas should, therefore, be generated on how to implement the necessary plans and steps for the achievement of the goal.

The world has to ensure that it delivers healthy lives and healthcare for the whole population in the future. According to the current expectation, the population of the world is expected to rise to 9.7 billion by 2050 with about 2 billion that are over the age of 60 (Conrad, 1993). However, there is still an ill-equipment of the healthcare system and the global health in dealing with this demographic transformation. Solutions should be developed from outside traditional healthcare to keep the populations healthy and also to have an effective treatment of the patients.

There is a provision of a unifying framework for the preservation of health and the improvement of the delivery of healthcare by the System Initiative on Shaping the Future of Health and Healthcare. The system belongs to the World Economic Forum. The framework provides an effort that brings together the stakeholders both from the private and the public sectors with the aim of catalyzing opportunities for the acceleration of the goals. It, therefore, becomes the possible strategy to implement in the betterment of healthcare in the future globally.

The focus of healthcare provision in the United Sates is no longer on the point-of service. The provision now works on a broader perspective like having a focus on the promotion of health, having a concern for the health of a population and taking individualized approaches. The main goal in doing these is for the improvement of health outcomes. Based on the views of some of the experts in the healthcare sector in the United States, they say that there will be a change in the access of data not only on how the care is given but on the choice of the manner of receiving the care. They have a belief that the delivery of care will be by an array of networks that provides the care.

A study by Balz, says that there will be more novel therapies in the United States by 2030. There is a hope that diagnostic tools will also be available that will make it possible for the physicians to stratify patients from the get-go, subjecting them to treatments shown by solid real world data to bring the best outcomes for their particular or specific condition. There is a hope also that better prevention tools will be available. Extensive checks will also be administered to individuals on a routine basis that will not only provide them personalized advice on lifestyle but rather make them able to see the benefits of following the advice as they also make a track of their improvement. However, older populations will also be found in the societies in the USA and higher rates of non-communicable diseases. Dr. Kraft says that there will be a change of the mindset from sick care to healthcare by having a shift from an era of reactive medicine to an area of proactive medicine, preventive and care that is continuous (Datta, 2010). Also in the future, software and data science will do more for medicine as compared to all of the biological sciences.

In conclusion, the future look of the healthcare and the healthcare system both in the USA and generally in the world depends on how the matters of healthcare are handled now. Achievements will be realized if the right strategies and approaches are implemented that will enhance the realization of these goals. It is therefore necessary for all the governments across the world including the USAs government to ensure that they implement the right measures that will help the healthcare sector achieve these future goals and avoid probable future challenges.
