Inevitably, communication informs one of the essentialities that humans utilize in the course of societal interaction. The advent of technology impacted positively various sectors including communication. Traditionally, communication incorporated primitive acts like whistling, shouting and drum beating among others in far instances from the targeted recipients. However, the technological advancements continue to advance critical roles in communication. Work environment informs one of the places where the role of technology in communication remains evident. It is on this premise that this paper endeavors in espousing the significance of technology in communication particularly in work.

Work presents diversity in situations and people that depend on specific means of interaction. The desire to clarify organizations goals can only get realized through appropriate communication endeavors. It is in this background where the critical nature of technology showcases (Haqqani, 2005). For instance, technology would ensure that presentable nature of communication item gets maintained. Internet-aided devices like phones would appropriately relay verbal instructions to the recipients without traces of litter as witnessed with a paper related communication channel.

Work endeavors should realize higher returns than losses. However, the fundamental means of achieving such a goal reside on the type of communication that informs the interactive ways utilized in work premises. Technology creates affordability that reasonable managers would want to advance in the operations of the establishment. For instance, a technological device like office telephone can get shared thereby reducing costs in employing messengers and associated services for communication (Welfens, 2012).

Technology enhances the security of communication within work premises. The traditional utilization of letters resulted in the loss of critical messages. However, the management can viably realize security benefits that most communication mediums that rely on technology get from such platforms (Welfens, 2012). The institution can create a data backup for eliminating threats associated with communication and information loss. It is on this premise that the role of technology in communication in work gets construed.

The urgency of messages in work environment demands faster means of relying on them. However, communication methods that do not incorporate technology occasionally fall short of speed. Nevertheless, the speed for relying on messages through technologically aided gadgets comparatively remain faster that desired recipients get them at desired times (Solway, 2010). For instance, phones relay verbal and text messages in speeds that can only compare with the level of urgency that gets associated with such information. It is on this background that the role of technology in communication remains significant.

Nature and unique features of certain information demand platforms that appreciate the flexibility that can only get realized through technological communication. Most of technologically aided systems remain flexible that can manipulate the content of the said information to suit the certain format. However, channels and mediums that completely get deprived of technology fail fundamentally to manipulate contents (McIntosh et al., 2008). For instance, the handwritten message cannot be manipulated in different colors as opposed to a technological device like a cell phone or any other associated gadget. It is this premise that flexibility nature of certain messages gets achieved through the viable role of technology in communication.

In summary, technology remains significant in communication in ways that can only compare to the benefits of information in work establishment. For instance, issues of flexibility, presentable nature of messages, affordability and urgency among others showcase the viable role of technology in communication. Therefore, this paper has discussed the role of communication from the proposition of information in work establishment.
