Sensitivity to Social Issues - Narrative Essay

I am from a group of individuals who are very sensitive to social issues. This is where I call home. This is a place where married women and ladies are as educated as men. It is also a place where everybody has the rights to air his or her views and regarded as part of the society. I belong to such a society where there is love, care, and togetherness. In the place I come from, communism is the fabrics of our culture. Love and understanding are part of the life where I come from. I come from such a society where development is critical in every aspect. This is where I call home. I have no particular place except where I feel home. To me, home is anywhere that I am received with love, and I am understood regardless of how complicated I am. My particular place is where I am corrected if I am wrong. Such a special place is also where the development of both male and female morals is regarded equally. I wish quite a lot that the winter comes fast this year. The springs and summers should also arrive soon. The reason is that I will ski through the ball pools of the late winter slush. Everybody requires being somewhere new. The location doesn't matter but the scenery of such a place in which I would need to be somewhere that is acceptable and increasingly walkable. In this manner, I would wish to realize how much change a particular set of the landscape can influence one's personal perspectives. In so doing, Ive taken it upon myself to take a challenge by creating a new routine. By bringing up a new lifestyle of exploration, can change the result to deviation from my way of life? Probably if I make small loops of five kilometers around and also a few one-directional trails, then it would lead in my change in social perspective.

From the simple aspect of change, we would realize that physical change may also result to change in lifestyle and later cultural erosion. With the advent of the McDonald's and Walmarts, housing developments and strip malls, a new hybrid cultural system is witnessed to be trumping into the American system. There are luxury hotels found in the New York Citys downtown. With the advent of regionalism, the cultural invention is experienced in which in a way or another, looks very artificial. When one recognizes the essence of change, there is little possibility that such change will corrode the fabrics of the traditional lifestyle of such a person. In Lure of the Local, the writers tend to look into the manner in which the American vernacular has allowed many people build the future instead of maintaining the past. From a personal perspective, even though change is inevitable and sensitivity to social issues is a matter of grave concern, cultural preservation is important.

In case art can be said to be universal and is favored over content, artists must, therefore, be encouraged to transcend to locales of theirs. On the contrary, content is seen as the central part of the art. Content is the prime factor that is portrayed in lived experience and entangled in materials. Regionalism is, therefore, an advantage and not a limitation. It is a base that doesnt require the exclusion of external influences. A local art which may be described as good establishes authenticity within the setting of beautiful art.
