Luke 18:35-43 says that as Jesus was approaching the town of Jericho, he met a blind man sitting by the gate begging. When he heard the crowd go by, he asked what was happening, and then they told him, Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.' He called out, Jesus son of David, have mercy on me.' Those who walked by rebuked him, telling him to be quiet, but he shouted, even more, s, saying, son of David, have mercy on me! Jesus then stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him, he came near, and Jesus asked him, what do you want me to do to you? Lord I want to see he replied. Jesus said to him, receive your sight, and your faith has healed you. Immediately he received his sight, and he followed Jesus praising the God. When all the people saw that happened, they too praised the Lord.

When I started my evangelistic work, I was in my late twenties. My church and fellow pastors organized a trip to an evangelistic work to a different state. California has been our home, and our evangelistic missions were in most cases been organized here at home. Then it came when we had to spread the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ to another state, and we opted to go to Georgia. On D-day came and awed a grip often pastors, led by our evangelist David Herington, we boards a plane which took us about ten hours to reach Georgia. On our way back, the same journey took eight hours to reach our California home.

Then our fellow pastors began questioning out the pilot, why the time difference between the two flights over the distance was re same. The pilot explained that the journey to Georgia, which was too far to cross the Mississippi River was against the North Atlantic air currents, which repelled the movement of the plane. The plane was then repelled and moved against the strong wind, the reason for taking longer than anticipated and on our way back, the plane was moving the same direction with the air currents which made it move faster with no resistance.

The way our back was faster because the North Atlantic wind currents were moving in our direction, the same way God worked in us. He is always moving in our direction, not against us, all we, human beings need to have id hope. Hope is the essential virtue we all need to embrace; only the devil is moving against us, trying to delay our success or any other fight we are involved in. Always the Lord Jesus Christ is sailing with us, he is always on our side, pushing us farther, just the smooth the monsoon winds pushed pout plane on our back journey to reach our home state faster . Only Satan is the enemy who likes the winds on our trip to Georgia, is always repelling us, trying to bring us down, delay our success or even take us out in whatever the endeavor we are in.

The days sermon from the book of Luke well shows us how hope and faith are important in our peoples lives, especially in our lives in our Christianity journey. Having faith in the Lord is believing in what we cant see. Praying and believing is a crucial aspect in staying strong in Christianity. Having faith is just believing, and having the hope of better ways and things to come. The sermon from the holy book of the Luke introduces is to a beggar.

The sermon shows us how the beggar had faith and hope in believing that he can get his sight, the beggar followed by calling Jesus by his name. The beggar demonstrated his faith in believing that he can be healed by Jesus Christ. Jesus told the nagger, receive your sight; tour faith has healed you.' By saying, so Jesus demonstrated to us how faith is crucial in every aspect of about Christian life. The beggar received his sight simply because he believed in his healing.

The devil has several ways of working, to make sure that our faith is fruitless, by planting doubtless and other factors to make us give u- quickly. The devil in the sermon used other passers-by to silence the beggar, so that he may not reach Jesus. The devil work in demonstrated by the actions of other bypasses acting to silence the beggar. Satan tries to silence us in different ways, in different occasions when we are almost succeeding in our daily endeavors . Satan cultivates doubt in us, to make us question the progress the Lord is working on us.

The humankind is filled with doubtless. Doubting is one of the way the devil infiltrating the humanity and make us fail in our Christianity. Where never we the humans believe in Jesus and have the hope of beer things to coke, always challenge the devil by putting him in a situation of losing. The holy book of the Bible on several occasions has mentioned the ways and events that have shown us how faith and hope are important in our Christianity journey. In the bible, several verses show is how faith and hope are critical in our lives.

Several verses in the Bible similarly show the importance of faith in our Christianity lives. 1st Corinthians 15:19 states that if in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of each people most to be pardoned. Apostle Paul tries to tell in his first letter to Corinthians that the hope I very essential in living in Christianity. Having hope in Christ, as apostle Paul states, is critical in helping is keep faith in his works in our lives. Christ lives in us if we believe in him and all his actions are reflected in him.

Praying without believing means nothing. Faith is everything any prayerful Christianity embraces, faith is the act of believing. As humans, we need to communicate with our creator on different occasions. Most of Christians pray and expect God to answer then instantly. It hardly works like that. One ought to pray, believe and hope. An impatient Christian would not go far in this quest to become a prayerful and a storing Christian. In many occasions, God tests our patient without faith. Praying on several times without answer does not mean God has not listened to your prayers. Several events may be going on, either God is waiting to answer you at the right time, or He is testing your patient while working on your answer.

On several occasions, we as Christians fail because of our lack of faith and hope. Hope believes in the better times to come, believe and trust that positive thing the ones you pray for will eventually come to happen. The later of Saint Paul to the Titus similarly explains the importance of hope, in the third chapter seventh verse which states, so that being justified by his grace, we may become heir according to the promise of internal life.'

Having hope in eternal life gives us Christians the faith we need, that even after death, we will rejoice forever in Christ pour Lord Jesus Christ. Believing in eternal life makes Christians have the faith that we will not die, for our soul will be safe in heaven, and out lives will live forever. The grace of Jesus crest is always enough to all Christians, the one which gives us strength in our faith. Werent for the grace, we would not be able to have faith, believe or even have hope.

As Christians, we ought to never give up hope. Always believing in what we pray forgives us the endurance to keep moving on with life. Faith is a very important gift of Holy Spirit, just like other gifts the Holy Spirit have our hope to strengthen our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, and to God. The relationship we Christians have with our creator gives us the best leverage we need to stay in Christianity. Being one of the Holy Spirit gifts, faith enables us to believe in the Lords work on us, wharf we cannot see, and what we always hope for.

In won belief, its not easy to believe in something we cannot see, especially for the human king, its hard to believe on something you cannot see. The spirit of Jesus Christ and God our creator is always present to us, coupled with his amazing grace which gives us the required strength. Believing originally begins from having faith if the existence of the supernatural being. Once a human being believes and has faith in the supernatural being, our creator, God, then believing on his actions would be easy to us. Human beings ought to believe in the existence of God for them to believe in him and have the hope of better things to come.

Deferred hope makes the heart sick while longing a fulfillment of hope is the tree of life,' these are the holy words from Proverbs 13:12. From this verse, we see that giving up hope is very detrimental to us Christians, and to our faith in our God. Giving up hope hurts, as its an indication of a failed test that God gave us. In whatever endeavor we believe in, we Christians ought to keep hoping for the best for what we believe in while waiting for the Gods promise to come true. Keeping hope is a tree of life, as the verse indicates, and it gives God a success to fulfill his promised to us.
