Academy Health Center is a Family school-based health Center is located in Queen Streets in the State of Worcester. The vision of the health care facility is "provision of affordable health services to the students and the residents of Worcester." The mission statement of the Family Heath Center state that, Family Health Center of Worcester is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all residents in the Great Worcester area, especially culturally diverse populations, by providing access affordable, high quality, integrated, comprehensive, and respectful primary health care and social services, regardless of patients ability to pay'.
Patients demographic
The majority of patients who visit the Health Center mainly rise from an urban and semi-urban population around the State of Worcester. The location of the patients is seasonal, and it provides services majorly for disadvantaged people. The essential health services provided by the health center include dental services, behavioral health services, breast health services, vision services, health counseling and maternal and child health services.
