The Jews claim that they flourished under Islamic government in Spain for a myriad of reasons. In Spain, there were different types of religions fighting for followers. There were Western Judaism and Babylonian Judaism in Western countries fighting for popularity in different countries. The increase in the number of religious movements during the era resulted in conflicts as evident in Persia. The Islamic government of Spain intervened to protect the Jews from declining and disappearing in many areas. The Jews in East was in danger of disappearing and the people would just consider it as an oriental cult.

The rise of Islam in the 7th century was the start of salvation to the Jews. In the history of religion, the rise of Islamic was the start of the revolution and drastic changes in the history of other religious practices. In this case, the Jews felt the salvation from the Islamic government in Spain that rose to conquer the world.

In 632 after the death of Mohammed, the Islamic armies became strong and conquered the whole world. The powers of the Islamic armies spread from Spain towards the eastern countries such as North America, Iran, and the Middle East. During the era, the majority of the Jews were under the leadership of Islam. The reign of Islam in the various countries towards the East was a moment of transformation of the Jews. The existence of the Jews under the leadership of the Islam transformed the Jews in different aspects. For example, the fortunes of the Jews changed in social, legal, and religious dimensions. The economic, linguistics and political lives of the Jews improved after the Islam took over the power. The transformation of the Jews demographic and geographic was for the better of the Jews community.

In the political dimension, all the Jews in the different places form one political movement that united all the Jews. Before the reign of the Islam armies, the Jews were scattered in the different places. However, the Islam government provided a suitable platform for the Jews reunite and gain superiority over other religious groups. There was reform in the legal status of all the Jew population in the country. The Islam conquest made the Jews second-class citizens. It is clear that being citizens was advantageous during the Islam conquest because it was one way that makes the population legal.

Before the recognition of the Jews as second-class citizens, some of the Jews were converted to slaves and Christianity. The forceful conversion of the Jews to slaves and Christianity was endangering the existence of the Jews and their recognition in the different parts of the country. The reign of the Islamic government in Spain provided an opportunity for the Jews to enjoy full rights. The Islam recognized the Jews under the law and was protected from different forms of discriminations.

The Islamic government advocated for the economic equality. The Jews did not suffer in the Ghettos but had equal chances to pursue economic freedom in their respective societies. The Jews had the freedom to practice their religious activities. They had the legal freedom to build the synagogues to preserve their cultures for the generation to come. The Islamic empire ensures that the right of the Jews was preserved and protected. The protection of the right for the Jews enables them to grow economically and sociologically.
