In emerging trends in information technology, what interests me most is Robotics. Robotics is a technology branch that deals with operation, design, application, and construction of robots. It as well includes computer systems to control robotics, processing of information and sensory feedback. Robotics technology deals with machines that are automated and that can take humans place in for instance dangerous areas or rather environments, by taking the looks of humans, behaving in the same manner with humans and having same cognition (In Szewczyk, In Zielinski, & In Kaliczynska, 2017). A lot is happening in the robotics technology.

Over the next coming decade, the robotics technology will have evolved to a greater extent. For instance, by the year 2020, robotics will be a $100 billion industry more, when compared with the year 2014. By 2020, the robotics technology will have gained momentum and will become vital components especially in a number of applications (Clevenger, 2011, p. xx). For instance, it will move from swarms of microbots to modular robots hence facilitating a strength in enhancing robotic applications and exoskeletons across the entire industry and this will transform the way work is done. The robots will be developed in a way that they will be capable of performing complex actions, learn from humans, and drive higher, the intelligent automation phenomenon. It is predicted in the next five years robotic technology will have developed microbots, exoskeleton, body-machine interfaces, modular robots, intelligent robots, robotic strength, alternately powered robots, robotic networks and telepresence robots.

The investment and adoption of the kind of robotics technology will not be similar. A lot is needed to ensure that it reaches where it is supposed to be. For instance, more cash to develop it will be needed not to talk of the kind of workforce that is needed to raise the current level of robotic technology (Heikkila, A.-M, Myyra, Pietola, & Factor Markets (Project), Centre for European Policy Studies (Brussels, Belgium), 2012). Of course, a lot of research and government interventions to ensure this happen will be needed as well when for instance one considers the case of developing intelligent robots that will be able to combine artificial intelligence and the machine learning technologies in order to give robots reactions, feelings and expressions that are the same with human beings. A lot of resources will need to be deployed.

Trends that seem to apply to the robotics technology are seen in the ongoing transitions such as the chinas Appetites, collaborative robots, robotics as a service, materials and the logistic handlings, and investments in robotics (Frank, 2016). Robotics technology is causing and will continue to cause ripple effects. For instance, robots are replacing human workforce and effects last and they ripple throughout given communities (Washington Post, 2017). The robots are, for instance, winning American jobs hence living a number of people jobless.

Robotics technology has its constraints. For instance, it requires high capital to initiate and keep moving, needs expertise for initial setup, robotics are limited in the sense that there are some tasks which they cannot perform. There is a tipping point whereby adoption of robotics technology accelerates. This is especially in cases when human force becomes limited.

Conclusively, robotic technologies entail the processes that are necessary for designing, building and maintaining of robots not to talk of other intelligent machines. They are intelligent, sophisticated and they are used to serve some human purposes. However, robotic technology has its constraints and its riffles as well. The future of robotic technology is expected to advance in the next coming decades. New paradigm adoption will be important to ensure the technology runs in a smooth manner.
